Know what you’re agreeing to before you join
The physical risks, personal responsibilities, boundaries, and shared expectations connected to Tres Golpes classes, socials, workshops, events, and community gatherings.
Dance and movement-based activities involve physical exertion and some risk of injury. These risks may include slips, falls, collisions, physical contact, overexertion, or aggravating an existing condition.
By registering or attending, you understand the nature of these activities and choose to participate voluntarily.
Personal Responsibility
Participate at your own pace and make decisions that feel right for your body, health, experience, and comfort. You may modify a movement, take a break, decline a dance, sit something out, or stop participating at any time.
Pay attention to your surroundings and communicate clearly with me and your partners. If something feels painful, unsafe, or uncomfortable, stop and say something.
You are responsible for deciding whether you are physically able to participate. Tres Golpes does not provide medical advice or medical supervision.
Partners & Boundaries
Partner dancing involves shared movement and physical contact. Participation never removes your right to set boundaries, decline an invitation, or end a dance.
Ask before dancing, respect a “no,” and adjust when someone communicates discomfort. No one is required to dance with a particular person or participate in every exercise.
Everyone is also expected to follow the complete Code of Conduct.
Shared Spaces & Personal Belongings
Classes and events take place in rented studios, restaurants, bars, and other shared venues. Be aware of floors, furniture, stairs, equipment, other participants, and changing room conditions.
Keep your belongings secure. Tres Golpes Bachata, La Bandera Social, its instructors, organizers, collaborators, and venues are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost, stolen, or damaged belongings except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Your Agreement
By completing a registration or purchase, or by attending or participating in an activity, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to review these terms and agree to follow them.
Your participation is also governed by the Policies & Guidelines and Code of Conduct. Together, these pages explain the purchasing policies, participation responsibilities, and community expectations that apply when you join Tres Golpes or La Bandera Social.
