Tres Golpes was born from a gap in New York’s scene — a space where Dominican bachata could truly feel like home. Our mission is simple: to grow it here, in the city with the largest Dominican community outside the island, and to protect its roots as bachata spreads worldwide.

We teach it the way it’s lived: music playing while cooking in the kitchen, games in the backyard, parties in the street, and family gatherings in the living room. Along the way, we weave in history, fundamentals, and values so every dancer builds not just steps, but a deeper why behind each one.

This is Dominican bachata — grounded, joyful, and forever for the social floor.
