Tres Golpes was born from a gap in New York’s dance scene — a space where Dominican Bachata could truly feel like home. Our mission is simple: to grow it here, in the city with the largest Dominican community outside the island, and to protect its roots as Bachata spreads worldwide.
We teach it the way it’s lived — not choreographed. Music playing while cooking in the kitchen, games in the backyard, parties in the street, and family gatherings in the living room. Every class, event, and conversation connects back to those everyday moments that shaped the culture.
